Original Work & Original Character Flash Exchange

(Edit May 12) Guys, i'm so sorry, WDLF3 pretty much ate up the weekend I planned to use for this and now i'm swamped/overcommitted with other things, so I won't be running this flash exchange anytime soon. If anyone else wants to run it, go for it! I'll be over here in my corner, frantically spreadsheeting, gibbering a little.)

Thanks for the feedback, everyone! Much appreciated. Here's a rough outline of the plan for this exchange. It'll still take place weekend of Friday, April 17.

1. If you wanna only sign up with Original Works stuff, you can.
2. If you wanna only sign up with Original Character stuff in a pre-existing canon, you can. Obviously, you can also do a mix of the two.
3. You do not need to have a canon character involved with an original character. Nominations like "Original Sith Character & None" in Star Wars Sequel Trilogy will be accepted.
4. Literally the only thing you need to do is make sure you're matchable to at least one person. Otherwise, just do whatever you like.

Unlimited DNWs, minimum wordcount 300, no penalty for defaulting, no gift guaranteed, but we'll do our damnedest.

Original Work & Original Character Flash Exchange is a very boring flash exchange name, but I can't think of anything better, so if anyone has ideas, lmk.

I'm pretty sure this isn't what this comm is meant for but I wanted to express my thanks to you! Possibly like others, I'm loving the flash exchanges happening here as a means of daily distraction from the shittiness of the world right now, so I want to encourage all of you mods and organisers doing wonderful jobs to keep doing wonderful jobs and also to thank you for giving me something to do! Fandom is at its best, I feel, when we are taking matters into our own hands. So, thank you ~ I really hope there are many more challenges over the next few weeks, and, ah, if anyone ever wanted to fire up an idol fic challenge, I am your target audience. :p
